Anime Expo was simply AMAZING this year. Ranting about the con up ahead~.

So here we go:

Day 0:
Cosplays - Lockon, Gundam 00

So Day 0 was a little slow. Got to the hotel, picked a corner to set up all our stuff, and went off to get tickets. Nothing to amazing happened today, though I was glad to be able to get a lot of sleep that night. ~Twilight-chan Finished some of her costume stuffs and ~Phantom-Shadow helped my get the pockets on my Sebastian (Kuroshitsuji) vest. ouo

Day 1: Cosplays - Lockon, Gundam 00 ; Kia, Absolute Obedience

Day 1 started off with the Kouga Yun panel. Needless to say, I was flippin' my shit to see her. (For those who don't know, Kouga Yun is the creator of Earthian and Loveless and also the character designer for Gundam 00.) People lined up to ask her questions, and the cut off point was right after ~Twilight-chan, ~KazeNeko-chan and myself. She seemed to be watching us while we were standing in line, seeing as we were dressed as Tieria, Regene, and Lockon, respectively, from G00.

I asked her a question about St. Seiya and she had a fangirl moment. Turns out her favorite character is Phoenix Ikki. She was so adorable. She loved our costumes and made it a point to thank us for coming to her panel in such lovely cosplays.

We then went in line to get stuff signed where we met a nice second season Tieria cosplayer. She didn't speak very much English, but we communicated the best we could. All I heard her say from time to time was "Niel!" is engrish and proceeded to cling to me. We took a lot of pictures with her.

We met with Kouga Yun and got things signed by her, and then took pictures with her. I took a little Haro cut out that ~Phantom-Shadow made for me and she wrote "<3 Lockon" and then signed it. I about squeed right in front of her. Hahaha.

After that whole ordeal, we ran back to our hotel room and proceeded to change into Absolute Obedience. Our entire group ran around like dorks, had an epic photoshoot thanks to *blueheart29. It was so much fun as we all made funny commentary while getting our pictures taken. We all went to dinner and then ran off to the JastUSA panel. We arrived about fifteen minutes early only to find out there was no room for anyone left in the panel. Thankfully *cheddot was there to save the day and got cosplayers into the panel, and to make it all the more perfect, we got to sit in the front with the panelist because of our costumes! We took pictures with the big names of JastUSA, got to talk to them about the game, and even got offered jobs at their booth to promote Absolute Obedience for them. Perfect day was perfect.

Day 2:

Cosplays - Lockon, Gundam 00 ; Sebastian, Kuroshitsuji

Gundam gathering went well, as Gundam 00 and Gundam Wing had an epic battle. xD There are pictures floating around somewhere of it...Gotta look for 'em. We met a lot of fellow G00 cosplayers and mingled for a while. Our good friend ~Infinity-Trigger joined us as Ali and we all had fun running around and making bad jokes about our characters. Hahah.

It went quickly before we went to go get dressed as Kuroshitsuji. I was a bit drained by the end of the day, but ~Twilight-chan picked up the mood by being her fabulous self as Grell. Laughs ensued. That night, we returned to the hotel room where we played games like "truth or truth" and "I never". It was a lot of fun! All the time I was making my false Sebastian nails along with drawing out my seal for the next day.

Day 3:

Cosplays - Sebastian, Kuroshitsuji

So I showed up to the Kuro gathering a little late and a little drunk. Heard music and commenced to dance my ass off. xD; I had fun, though my feet were KILLING me by the end of my flailing. There were about...three mini Kuro gatherings after that. Met a lot of awesome people and got a lot of picture opportunities out of it. I was quite happy. ~Twilight-chan and I finally got a chance to relax and cuddled in a corner, relaxing seeing as both our shoes basically blistered our feet. We sat there for about three minutes before one of the staff members of the convention center leaned over to scream in our face to get out. Asshole.

The end of the day ~Twilight-chan, ~KazeNeko-chan, and myself went to the Westin. ~Twilight-chan and myself ordered a Portman Punch from the bar (HIGHLY recommended) and walked around the hotel for a little while before deciding to go back to the shuttle and going to eat. We found this good restaurant called the Pantry and their food was AMAZING. Very filling, not too expensive, and the service was awesome.

Day 4:

Cosplays - Kia, Absolute Obedience

We got dressed quickly and ran off to the vending hall to work for JastUSA. We worked for about an hour and a half or so, promoting the game and bringing people in to the booth and got about 20 bucks each. Good for working such a short time, not to mention people freaking out about how we cosplayed such undercosplayed characters. I felt special. Seeing as the con ended this day, we didn't do much after that. We all hung out and relaxed after the tiring con. It was worth it.

Everything went well, no drama from anyone, and no hostility from anywhere. One of the best conventions yet. I loved the people we stayed with, and I loved the people we spent time with. I miss you guys! Cannot wait to see you at either PMX or ALA!

To everyone in the hotel room (Kaze, Natalie, Danielle, April, and Tawny), thank you so much for wonderful time. All our personalities balanced out, and no one got angry, frazzled, or sad during the entire time. That is quite a first! We need to room together more often.

Natalie: 'The kind one'; Woman, stop being so generous! We are so glad you were able to make it to AX, and having you around was such a refreshing experience. I loved spending time with you.

Kaze: 'The patient one'; No matter what happened you never lost your cool. We really needed that in the room. You did a lot to keep the room spirit up and kept us going when we were feeling tired. You always help us out.

April: 'The handy one'; No matter what got broken, no matter who lost what, you were there handing us an extra. You are so good at what you do be it with costumes or with just being there in general. We would be lost without you.

Danielle: 'The bold one'; You just don't give a shit and I love it! I mean, you do care about all of us, but when you have an opinion or want to play a prank, you don't care about the concequences. I admire that so much. Not to mention you kept us laughing the entire con. Haha. "EAT YOUR CORNBREAD YOUNG BLOOD"

Tawny: 'The smart one'; In every sense of the word. You are always a logical and supportive friend and make every con a blast for me. I really do hope we never go to one without each other. Love you.

Taylor: 'The organized one'; You were everywhere on time and waiting for it. Cutest Fer eva'! Thanks for putting up with us and being around you was so much fun! I hope we can spend a lot more cons together. :3

To everyone I met up with/met at AX, thanks for making it such a memorable year. Lets make a lot more memories in the future, ne? Love ya guys!
